For hard soldering of steel, malleable cast iron, copper, copper alloys, nickel and nickel alloys. These cadmium-free solders are applied, among others, in medical as well as in the food industry. Also perfectly suited for pipes where technical gas is transported, e.g. oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, CO2 as well as noble gas (i.e. Argon and Helium). The solder joints are stable at a working temperatures from -200°C to +200°C. There is no notably determined reduction of tensile strength and notch impact strength of solder joints on copper, brass and steel at – 196°C. You can solder blank material in connection with a flux according to DIN EN 1045 – FH 10 ( "CuFe Nr. 1" paste or "CuFe P" powder, respectively).
