Cable flux ISO-Flux® “KF-70“ is a flux based on organic, halide-containing activators. It is used for tinning and soldering at cable shoes, jackets and connectors as well as the connection of varnished copper wires on spool contacts. Cable flux ISO-Flux® “KF-70“ has been especially developed for difficult solderable surfaces e.g. oxidised copper, overlayed or thermally preprocessed metalic surfaces as well as nickelised copper wires. Compared to common fluxes this flux distinguishes itself in the ability to create absolutely partial tinnings. The solder will not rise, even with finest copper braids having a high capillary effect during the braid's wetting by using cable flux ISO-Flux® “KF-70“. The danger of solder crawling under the isolation and thereby limiting the flexibility of the line is eliminated if used properly.
