In order to compensate the copper cumulation of lead-free alloys SN100-403CL™ in HASL machines for the PCB manufacturing, we recommend to use the copper-free refill solders SN100-403CLe™. A regular analytical test of the solder bath is therefore unavoidable. Due to the very high copper accumulation into solder bath during the HASL process in particular, copper-free refill solders are applied for compensation.
